Ocean Plastic & Its Impacts on Sea Turtles
This project aims to develop an interactive exhibition system to address ocean plastic pollution and its impact on sea turtles. Visitors can place plastic items into a sculptural sea turtle, triggering a screen to display informative content about the plastic and its effects on sea turtles.

The Topic
Each year, millions of tons of plastic waste enter the oceans and pose a significant threat to marine life, especially sea turtles. As plastic waste continues to inundate our oceans, sea turtles bear the brunt of its impact, facing entanglement, ingestion and habitat destruction.
We began this project with extensive research, including visits to aquariums and zoos to immerse ourselves in the subject matter. Despite the increasing awareness of this problem, there is still an urgent need for action.
The Exhibit
With a clear communication objective in mind, we designed the exhibition to leverage the unique context of aquariums as educational platforms. We developed an engaging narrative structure that balances exploration and linear storytelling, ensuring an impactful visitor experience.
